This decision follows the release of a compromising video in which he is involved in pornographic activities with youths.

José Chatue Ntcheu’s suspension will last as long as it takes for the Cameroon Football Federation’s Ethics Committee to rule on the matter. The regional league strongly condemns these actions.

“In my capacity as statutory representative of the Littoral Regional Football League, I have decided to suspend Mr CHATUE NITCHEU JOSUE, General President of BOTAFOGO FOOTBALL CLUB, from all football-related activities, for inappropriate behavior symbolized by a pornographic video,” states the press release.

It should be noted that José Chatue Ntcheu is also known for previous incidents, including physically assaulting Ms Rebecca Enonchong in 2023. Although a warrant of incarceration was issued for him, he was quickly released after a few days in custody.

This case highlights instances of inappropriate behavior in Cameroonian football, including cases of sexual harassment such as that reported in Coton Sport de Garoua and recently, Armelle Tchouleugheu, a player at Galactique Football Association.
