PARIS 2024 Olympics: Cameroon’s Richelle Soppi Mbella qualifies

Cameroonian judoka Richelle Soppi Mbella has qualified for the 2024 Paris Olympics thanks to her gold medal in Cairo.

Richelle Soppi Mbella will represent Cameroon at the upcoming Paris 2024 Olympic Games in Judo. Richelle Soppi Mbella is Cameroon’s only gold medallist at the 2024 African Senior Judo Championships in Egypt.

Following the qualification of table tennis player Sarah Nana Hanffou in May, Cameroon’s Olympic team is growing, with the Cameroonian judoka securing her ticket for the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris.

Richelle Soppi Mbella’s honors this year:

◦ African Judo Open d’Abidjan 🥇

◦ Marrakech African Open 🥇

◦ African Seniors Championships Individuals 🥇

◦ Luanda African Open 🥇

This performance puts her in 4th place in the world ranking of the best judokas (men and women) for this year 2024.
