The Turkish Süper Lig is set to lose Clinton Njie next season. The Sivasspor striker’s contract will not be renewed and he is set to join the Scottish top flight. According to Lattaquant.com, Scottish Premier League club Kilmarnock are in constant contact with Clinton Njie’s legal representative.
The club is keen to sign the former Olympique de Marseille striker. This season, Clinton Njie has not achieved the results expected of a striker.
Statistics and performances
In 26 games played, he has only scored 2 goals and provided 2 assists.
But despite these statistics, other clubs are interested in the 30-year-old Cameroon striker. Valued at €950,000 on Transfermarkt, he is set to leave his club at the end of his contract without making any money for Sivasspor, who signed him for free in July 2022.
Having played for Tottenham, Marseille, Lyon and Dynamo Moscow in Russia, Clinton Njie still has talent to spare at the age of 30. Sivasspor’s No10 is expected to join his likely new club at the start of next season. His representative has been working on the deal for some time.
Over the next few years, the Indomitable Lion should be back at the top of his game in the hope of being called up by Cameroon’s new coach, Marc Brys.
