Al Tae’e SC decided to release Faï Collins at the end of the 2022/23 season. The right-back remained without a club before joining FK Radnički Niš in January 2024. However, he only signed a short-term contract (6 months) and is now free. After playing for many years in Belgium, the native of Bamenda in the north-west region of Cameroon is once again being courted in that country.
The Cameroon international is now believed to be in the plans of Racing Club Genk from this summer. The Belgian club have reportedly been in contact with the right-back’s agents to reach an agreement. Racing Club Genk are reportedly offering the Indomitable Lion a two-season contract to bring his experience to the dressing room.
Discussions are said to be underway between the various parties. The club is also expected to speed up negotiations to sign the 2017 African champion, as the 31-year-old Cameroonian is also reportedly being courted in Qatar this summer.
