Aboubakar Vincent and the Indomitable Lions are currently playing qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup in Africa zone. In Cameroon’s encounter against cabo verde which took place on June 8 at the Amadou Ahidjo stadium in Yaounde, the Besiktas striker scored twice propelling the indomitable lions to a 4-1 win over the blue sharks of Cabo Verde.
Aboubakar Vincent’s two goals mean that the Cameroon striker is now on pal with football legend Roger Milla’s record of 43 goals.
Before facing Angola on June 11, Vincent Aboubakar is now 13 goals behind the all-time top scorer in Cameroon history, held by another football legend, Samuel Eto’o, scorer of 56 goals for the Cameroon national team.
