Fecafoot-Minsep case: No staff validated by CAS

In the case between Fecafoot and the Ministry of Sport and Physical Education before the Court of Arbitration for Sport concerning the appointment of the Indomitable Lions’ technical staff, neither of the two appointed staff has been validated.

The Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) has rejected the appeal lodged by the Association des Clubs de Football Amateurs du Cameroun (ACFAC) in the case between between FECAFOOT and the Ministry of Sport concerning the management of the Indomitable Lions’ technical staff. According to the latest press release issued by ACFAC, their appeal concerning the management of the Indomitable Lions’ technical staff was not successful.

“It is important to note that, contrary to certain information circulated here and there, CAS has not validated either of the two coaching staffs. As the proceedings are still ongoing, CAS will rule at a later date on the substantive issues relating to the nullity or annulment of the decisions taken by FECAFOOT in the context of this case, which is the subject of proceedings CAS 2024/A/10643 FC 2000X Mimboman et al. v. Fédération Camerounaise de Football (FECAFOOT)”.
