Cyrille Tollo travelled to Angola as part of Day 4 of the 2026 World Cup qualifiers to follow the preparations of the Cameroon delegation in Luanda. The technical advisor praised the Indomitable Lions’ performance in drawing with Angola on Matchday 4 of Group D.

“You’re the best! “You are the best! Despite a team decimated by illness (Choupo-Moting and Moumi Ngamaleu) and injury (Bassogog), you showed the potential that is expected of you, both the technical staff and the players. We came away from Luanda with a good result against an Angolan team that was quick on its feet and played in front of its President. The team has been built up in seven days. Now we need to get it right and create some automatisms. The Indomitable Lions are back,” declared Cyrille Tollo.

Having disappeared from the public eye for several days following the altercation at the headquarters of the Cameroon Football Federation, he finally made a public appearance at the Indomitable Lions’ reception at Luanda airport on Sunday.
