Cameroon’s Indomitable Lions made short work of Cape Verde in Yaoundé on Matchday 3 of the 2026 World Cup qualifiers in the African zone. Marc Brys, on his first outing with the Indomitable Lions, won the crowd over with a score of 4-1.
Michael NGADEU, on his return to the national team, opened the score before captain Vincent Aboubakar made it 3-1 in the first half. Nouho Tolo made it 4-1 in the second half, a score line the Indomitable Lions maintained until the end after André Onana had saved a penalty.
Cameroon surges to the top of Group D with 07 points before travelling to Angola on 11 June for Matchday 4 of the 2026 World Cup qualifiers.
