Victoria United, Cameroon’s champions for the 2023-2024 season, were able to turn things around against Ngaoundéré FC in the round of 32, drawing on a score of 4-4 before going on to narrowly win on penalties with a one point difference by a score of 10-9

That will not be the case this time against Astres de Douala. Facing Astres de Douala in the round of 16, Cameroon champions Victoria United went 1-1 before losing on penalties 9-8 at CAF’s Excellence Stadium in Mbankomo.

The south-western club missed out on a historic double and will settle for their MTN ELITE ONE title, which they won against Coton Sport of Garoua.
