According to a source at Lattaquant.com, the head of the Cameroon Football Federation (Fécafoot) had moles in the squad, undermining the system put in place by coach Marc Brys to prevent interference. The proof, according to Camfoot, is in the form of new signing Jules Armand Kooh, who finished top scorer in the Elite One championship (Cameroon’s top division).
Last Friday, on the eve of the match against Cabo Verde, the striker was told in a chat with Brys and a few members of staff that he would be on the team sheet. The Flemish coach even told him that he could play for 10 or 15 minutes, depending on the scenario.
Moles in the team?
Early that evening, Fécafoot sent a letter to the coach, informing him that Armand Kooh had a double identity, as did John Bosco Nchindo, another Elite One player called up. Despite Kooh and those close to him presenting documentary evidence to the contrary, Fécafoot did not budge from its position. As a result, the Astres FC wing player will not be making his first appearance for the Indomitable Lions.
This brings the question: how could Fécafoot have been informed of Kooh’s plan, when none of his staff were present in the dressing room or at training sessions?
The answer is clear: the players.
The post believes that some of them are acting as spies for Eto’o, who is still keeping an eye on the national team, despite his technical staff dispute with Narcisse Mouelle Kombi.
