Five months after leaving Bon Ba Djob, the USM Alger striker is planning to sue his former club for non-payment of several bonuses, including the signing bonus linked to his transfer from PWD of Bamenda to Dynamo of Douala, estimated at 3,000,000 FCFA. Faced with Dynamo’s refusal to respect the terms of his contract, the Cameroon international is considering taking the matter to FIFA’s courts.

In addition to this sum, the player, who despite his departure finished top scorer for Dynamo Douala with 7 goals, is claiming several unpaid match bonuses. Despite his transfer, which brought in nearly 300 million francs for Bon Ba Djob, contrary to the 160 million announced by the club, Ateba has reportedly not received all the agreed sums.

It should be noted that the club from Cameroon’s economic capital also made headlines recently when it threatened USM Alger with failure to respect the financial clauses stipulated in the purchase contract for the Indomitable Lion.
