Belgian coach Marc Brys spoke at the post-match press conference about his team performance, his squad and the forthcoming match in Angola.

“Playing without Choupo Moting? It’s simple, it’s the coach’s choice,” he declared.

With Marc Brys and his team having made a good start, the Indomitable Lions coach is now looking ahead to Matchday 4 of the 2026 World Cup qualifiers, which will pit Cameroon against Angola at Angola’s November 11 stadium on June 11, 2024.

“What do I have to say? I understand your question because Angola have had an extra day off and they’re playing at home. It’s going to be a completely different match. I’ve seen a lot of pictures. They have a very good striker who scores easily. There’s a lot of speed in this team, there’s not too much movement, but it’s quick in depth. Now we have to adapt to this team. It’s a team that controls the midfield and has a lot of movement in the middle of the pitch. We’re going to block that, and we’re going to try and see how we can win this match,” Marc Brys emphasised.
